Blooming Keiki Speech

Pediatric In-Home Speech Therapy Services

Serving East Oahu’s Children

Where children play, learn, and bloom.

Blooming Keiki Speech provides in-home speech therapy for children 0-5 years old. Young children learn best in their natural environment - within their homes and with their caregivers present. You will not only see your child bloom with their skills but you will also bloom by learning the strategies needed to continue your child’s growth via parent coaching/home program. I work to support both you and your child in their development.

I use a neurodiversity-affirming, play-based, child-led approach to therapy. When your child is having fun is when they are learning!

Blooming Keiki Speech currently serves the following areas: Kaneʻohe, Kahaluu, Kaʻaʻawa, Kailua, Lanikai, Enchanted Lakes, Waimanalo, Hawaiʻi Kai.

❊ Testimonials

Loved by Children, Trusted by Parents.

Brittney is a wonderful pediatric speech therapist. Our son at two years old was diagnosed with a speech delay. With Brittney's help he made significant progress and after a few months his language exploded. Now he doesn't stop talking.

Brittney's friendly personality, patience, and expertise as a pediatric speech therapist truly made a significant difference in his development. She was able to engage him and make each session both productive and enjoyable. We would highly recommend her to any parent looking to receive quality care and assistance with their child's speech.

Brittney has been such an important part of my daughter’s development journey. For her privacy, I’ll call her “Leilani.” Leilani was only 2 years old when we first started working with Brittney, and at the time I honestly had no idea what to do or where to begin. Brittney immediately made us feel comfortable and supported.

We still have lots of work ahead of us, but the effort Brittney made to bring us techniques for calming, improving attention, and helping form words became key building blocks in our journey toward helping our daughter communicate. She gave us practical methods we could use at home, made thoughtful observations, and helped guide us in ways that felt achievable and encouraging instead of overwhelming.

What stood out most was Brittney’s patience, kindness, and ability to connect with Leilani in a way that made learning feel natural and enjoyable. Over time, we began to see growth not only in communication, but also in confidence and interaction.

Brittney not only helped Leilani, but also gave me confidence as a parent navigating speech therapy for the first time. We are extremely grateful for her guidance, care, and expertise, and would highly recommend her to any family looking for a pediatric speech therapist who genuinely makes a difference.

  • A typical session will typically start with parents providing updates on their child and what they have been working on since their last session. Parents are encouraged to be active participants during the session to observe as well as practice the strategies with their child to see what works and what doesn’t. We will do a lot of singing, books, toy play, movement play, sensory play, whatever your child is interested in - children learn best through play! Parents will then reflect and determine what strategy or two they would like to implement into their daily routine to practice with their child.

  • Children at this age still learn best through play! Your child’s goals will be naturally embedded into motivating activities, whether that be toy sets, books, arts and crafts, play doh, etc. Parents are encouraged to observe the session to see what works and at the end of the session will receive a home program with carryover activities to work on with their child to continue their learning until their next visit.
